Atlona requires support engineer for Latam

Mexico. The company Atlona continues in its intention to strengthen its presence in Latin America, for which it is looking for a technical support engineer to help the attention of customers, both in the pre and in the after sales.

In this position, the engineer must remain in close contact with Atlona's partners, the channel and its customers (distributors, system integrators), to assist them in the promotion, sale, support and training in the company's product range. Sales support is a key requirement at Atlona to successfully sell your solution to the Pro AV market. 

Atlona is looking for a highly motivated and dedicated player to be its technical anchor in LATAM. Among the features, you must have ease to communicate and interact with other people, accessible and have a strong will to help. You must be willing to travel internationally and support Atlona's regional sales managers in their effort to grow the business.

The new engineer will remain in close contact with Atlona's HQ support team in San Jose, California, and will have their support when needed. However, you should be able to provide first, second, and a little third grade support independently.

Support in LATAM will be responsible for the following tasks:
Pre-sale support
Project support
Solution design
After-sales support (phone, email, on-site)
Internal escalation when needed
Notification of cases 
Support to sales team for marketing activities, such as exhibitions, road shows, customer events
Approval of RMA and urgent replacements
Manage stock

Those interested must prove experience in:
Technical management and support of AV Pro projects or related market
Proven track record in customer-facing technical support
Understand the needs of a sales channel
Fluent in Spanish and English (oral and written) and at least one other language
Ability to work independently and show self-initiative
