Ramón EsteveMexico. The Spanish architect and designer Ramón Esteve arrives at the sixth edition of ELA Expo Lighting America with the conference "Light as matter", where he will reflect on light through projects of different scales in lighting, interior design and residential architecture.

Esteve's work has been characterized by the constant search for harmony, serenity, timelessness, atmosphere, universality and contextualization, always aiming to generate creative responses in the environment, creating unique places, objects and brands.

Founder of Ramón Esteve Estudio, and with more than 24 years of experience, his work includes numerous projects, among which are: public facilities, health centers, schools, congresses, office buildings, hotels and remodeling.

Some of his works that have stood out the most are: Casa Sardinera; Refuge in Fontanars Dels Alforins; Myrtus Event Space; Casa Paz y Comedias; Príncipe Felipe Research Center; Sant Josep Library; New University Hospital La Fe; Private Hospital in Valencia and the Caixa Ontinyent Cultural Center.

Likewise, he has excelled in the field of single-family homes, whose peculiarity is the use of few elements, sobriety, luminosity, simplicity, order and harmony. An example of this is the Na Xemena project, where his facet as an industrial designer emerges when creating the furniture collection for Gandia Blasco, whose geometric minimalism revolutionized the outdoor market after its appearance in 1996.

Since then, he has designed daring collections of great success for firms such as Vibia, Inclass, Vondom, Joquer and De Castelli, works that helped turn design into an essential discipline for his studio.

His experience, avant-garde and professionalism, makes Esteve a benchmark in the industry and, this time he arrives in Mexico to present at ELA Expo Lighting America 2016, an event that will take place in Centro Banamex, Mexico City from February 24 to 26 from 12:00 to 20:00 hrs.

Free event with pre-registration for professionals in the sector. For more information visit: www.e-la.mx
