International. 2016 was the first time that the ISE fair lasted four days in its exhibition. By the end of February 12, it had a final count of 65,686 registered attendees. This represents an increase of 6,338 (10.7%) in the 2015 edition and officially positions ISE as the largest fair on AV system integration in the world.
"The volume of attending traffic and its spread over the four days confirms our belief that the extra day was necessary and that it brings added value for visitors and exhibitors," said Mike Blackman, Director of Integrated Event Management Systems. "I am delighted to say that the response has been very positive and I would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed."
With 1,103 world-leading AV manufacturers and service companies filling rai's exhibition halls, visitors had a unique opportunity to see the latest products and technologies. Members of the press from 40 different countries reported on the hundreds of product launches and updates announced at the show. ISE 2016 also saw the first version of the daily newspaper ISE during the four days and the launch of ISEshow.TV
The co-owners of ISE, CEDIA and InfoComm International, reported on their great satisfaction with ISE 2016 and with the high levels of interest of attendees in their educational programs on the site. These sessions attracted attendance registration numbers.
David Labuskes, Executive Director and CEO of InfoComm International, said: "Once again I can say how proud we are to be associated with ISE and the unique position it holds today. Our InfoComm conferences, master classes and FlashTrack education sessions had excellent numbers of delegates and WAS offered ISE attendees an opportunity to experience a bit of what InfoComm International can offer."
Vincent Bruno, CEO of CEDIA, was equally optimistic about ISE 2016. "This year's exhibition confirmed the importance of ISE for manufacturers and home integrators. It's simply an event you have to attend.'

The addition of a new room in 2017 will coincide with a new numbering system being introduced in the RAI.
ISE will take place between 7 and 10 February 2017.
