International. Panasonic will recreate the largest image ever projected at the Prolight + Sound 2016 fair that takes place from April 5 to 8 in Frankfurt (Germany).
The highlight of the Panasonic stand will be the reproduction of the projection of the Circle of Light festival, in which more than 100 Panasonic PT-DZ21K2 projectors created an image of 19,099 m2 on a set of buildings of the Ministry of Defense, on the Fruzenskaya embankment in Moscow.
"The screening held at the Circle of Light festival is a great example of the incredible 3D mapping shows that can be created. Our intention is to reproduce it in the Prolight+Sound," says Hartmut Kulessa, Panasonic Projector Marketing Manager.
The recently launched PT-RZ970 series, which includes the industry's lightest and most compact 10,000 lumens of a DLPTM chip laser projectors, will also be presented at the show. The three-model series (WUXGA, WXGA and XGA) leverages the features and technology of Panasonic's award-winning PT-RZ670 series, adding approximately 1.5 times more brightness and close image quality to its 3-chip DLP™ models. In Prolight+Sound, the projector will be displayed in an innovative structure thanks to the help of mirror heads from the Dynamic Projection Institute.
It is also worth mentioning the combination of edge blendings of four Panasonic PT-RQ13K 4K projectors, for which multimedia servers of 3D technologies and mapping software will be used.
