International. Shambhala boasts a popular culture that is unique in every way – a community of people who come together for more than five days to celebrate life and music in Canada. With the support of a team of over 2000 volunteers who bring their passion and vision year after year, the Shambhala Music Festival has been sculpted into a beautiful and very diverse microcosm.
PK Sound has a deep connection with Shambhala, has provided them with sound systems for the past 13 years, and continuously pushing the boundaries of audio design. Providing the audio of five Shambhala Festival stages with specialized sound systems presents a logistical challenge when navigating the difficult terrain of the Kootenay Mountains.
Shambhala's remote location requires audio systems to be completely confined to their own infrastructure. The Trinity audio system premiered on the stage "The Village" – El Pueblo – for the first time since its official launch in June 2016, and fans were not disappointed.
