Mexico. Bisou is an exclusive club in Monterrey, operating not only as the new overnight destination in the city, but also as an exhibition of the club's modern lighting technology. Opened in spring 2016, Bisou features a sleek design accentuated by an Elation lighting package supplied and installed by Elation's Mexican partner, Adimsa.
Edson Rivera, owner of Adimsa, was involved in the installation from the beginning, a project he describes as architect Filipao Núñez's interpretation and the fulfillment of a lifelong dream of the club's owners and brothers Victor and Emilio Califa. "They wanted to create an elegant place with a modern, technological vibe," said Rivera, who completed the lighting design for the space.
"We chose Elation accessories for the dance floor light show and ADJ accessories to meet the most decorative architectural aspects of the lighting design," said Alejandro Gálvez, Manager of the club and who was also key in the project.
Contemporary and avant-garde high technology is united in a large state-of-the-art lighting package, which Adimsa delivered with a fully immersive design that covers the entire club. As an example of the distinctive appearance, in the floor area of the dance floor, there is an 8 x 4 matrix formed by lightning effects of the Elation ACL 360i. With the ability to rotate continuously from 360 degrees, the 32-luminaire array makes for a wonderfully creative and eye-catching spectacle.
For the club-wide decorative effect, Flex Pixel WP, thin and flexible tape with 40mm RGB LEDs in the centers, was installed. The film works in conjunction with the other lighting in the room in a coordinated dance of color effects, pattern of persecution and dynamics.
Elation's dynamic lighting system means Bisou's owners, Victor and Emilio Califa, have the state-of-the-art lighting to complement the club's modern design, help draw crowds, and an efficient system that saves on energy bills and maintenance costs.
