Latin America. Crestron's Integrated Partner Program now has a new member, microphone manufacturer Sennheiser. As a result, the products of both companies can be seamlessly integrated into a single powerful combined solution.
Data can be easily exchanged between systems, such as the DNA conferencing solution – here, because control commands are transmitted via TCP/IP, the central unit of the audio conferencing system, the CU1 DNA, can be effortlessly connected to one of Crestron's media controllers. For example, when the talk button on a charger is pressed, the media controller interprets the transferred information and triggers functions, such as aligning the camera with the speaker.
This communication equipment works naturally in both directions, which means that Sennheiser communication stations can be accessed remotely via Crestron touch panels. The user interface is incredibly easy to use, with images of the conference room popping up on touchpad screens. To simplify system programming, developers can use the custom API ("Sennheiser DNA Crestron Module").
Sennheiser's TeamConnect Ceiling Microphone, which is connected to the CU 1 TeamConnect central unit, can also be combined with Crestron products.
The audio specialist's SpeechLine Digital Wireless products are grouped around the "SL Rack Receiver DW", which comes equipped with a network of RJ45 connectors. This easy-to-use wireless system is provided with server software ("Sennheiser Control Cockpit") that uses a clearly structured control panel to ensure ease of use. However, third-party controls can also be added to the connectivity network, and the same also happens for Sennheiser's popular evolution wireless ew 300 G3 line.
