ISE. Shure has added two microphone transmitters to its ULX-D Digital Wireless system, which can be used in corporate meetings and business events.
The new ULXD6 and ULXD8 gooseneck surface transmitters offer the ULX-D brilliant sound quality with low latency, signal stability, high spectral efficiency and state-of-the-art encryption technology. They can be used with standard AA or lithium-ion rechargeable batteries. In addition, they work in the UHF television band, as well as in other frequency bands, which allows their use in countries or environments where microflex Wireless bands are already used or are not available.
In convention centers, hotels, corporate and educational environments, handheld or lapel microphones are often used as the first option, although surface or gooseneck microphones would be the most feasible and comfortable solution for all participants. With the new surface and gooseneck ULX-D transmitters, Shure now offers powerful and flexible wireless options, and compatible with ULX-D and QLX-D digital receivers.
ULXD6 surface transmitters and ULXD8 gooseneck transmitters offer a low-profile shape, an ideal choice for meetings and events where quick and easy installation and uninstallation are needed. With a long transmission range (up to 330 feet/100 meters) and a wide selection of antenna distribution components, the ULXD6 and ULXD8 systems can be expanded very efficiently.
The SBC450 network charging stations with a capacity of 4 units and SBC850 with a capacity of 8 units allow the charging of four or eight ULXD6 or ULXD8 transmitters quickly and comfortably, without the need to remove the battery from the transmitter. The Shure Wireless Workbench® software solution as well as external control systems (AMX, Crestron, Extron, Cue, etc.) facilitate remote access to transmitter parameters.
UlXD6 and ULXD8 gooseneck surface transmitters will be available in mid-2017.
