Videocorp, Christie's new partner in several countries

Chile. Christie has reached an agreement with Videocorp for this audiovisual integration company to act as its new integration partner in Colombia, Peru and Chile.

Through this agreement, Videocorp will be able to supply and integrate all christie display solutions in its facilities in the sectors of industry, commerce, education, health, transportation, service centers and mining, among others.

Created in Santiago de Chile 34 years ago, where its headquarters are located, Videocorp currently has branches in the Chilean cities of Antofagasta, Viña del Mar, Concepción and Puerto Varas, and with international positioning through its offices in Lima (Peru), Mexico City, Bogotá (Colombia) and Miami (USA), with a total of 400 employees.

Pablo Psijas, commercial manager of Videocorp, says: "Christie is a top-notch manufacturer in the AV and digital cinema industry. This agreement means for us to mix the best projection, video and monitoring room products that Christie has with the engineering, design and support that Videocorp offers. A solid contribution to the market, with a winning bet that undoubtedly brings new challenges to the industry and added value to our customers. There is a lot of work together in the future in digital cinema, electronic security and audiovisual projects."

In fact, Videocorp has recently installed the first content management systems for Christie Phoenix control rooms in Chile, specifically in the offices of Antofagasta de Finning, a company that provides services in areas such as mining, construction, energy, forestry and material handling for industries.

Juan Carlos Chávez, Christie's director in Latin America, says: "We are delighted to have at our side a company with such experience and geographical coverage as Videocorp, which will allow us to greatly strengthen our presence in Chile, Peru and Colombia. The diversity of Videocorp's business is very important to Christie because it touches all of our applications and verticals. It is also a company that has a great infrastructure and logistical knowledge to undertake all kinds of projects in the region".
