In Colombia, Schneider Electric launched its new EcoStruxure architecture and platform to offer IoT-enabled solutions focused on construction, network, industry and data center.
The new platform and architecture are enhanced, open, scalable and interoperable, connecting the three main layers of Schneider Electric's technology stack, from connected products, to edge control, applications, analytics and services. This new generation of EcoStruxure delivers greater value in terms of security, reliability, efficiency, sustainability and connectivity of IoT-enabled operations.
Prith Banerjee, Chief Technology Officer, Schneider Electric, said, "EcoStruxure helps maximize the value of the Internet of Things for our customers. It also gives them the platform, architecture and roadmap to quickly and easily deploy IoT in an enterprise, extending the benefits of IoT beyond the device layer to create a smarter, more efficient and more secure operation."
EcoStruxure is designed to meet the customer's core challenge of deploying IoT solutions transparently, cost-effectively, and at scale. The launch of the platform provides a secure technological breakthrough with IoT technology with three main technological capabilities:
• Built-in connectivity and intelligence that enables intelligent sensing, integrated computing, IP networking, and edge analysis.
• A foundation for intelligent operations to serve as a basis for control, management, automaton and optimization.
• The infrastructure for digital services connected to the cloud that enables the delivery of cloud-connected applications, analytics, services, control and monitoring.
Schneider Electric also announced that it is working with established partners such as Microsoft and Intel, among others, with whom the company seeks to create or co-create solutions and applications for customers.
