Latin America. Datapath has strengthened its growing market position in Latin America by signing the terms with distributor Stampede, a company that has been providing professional AV solutions since 1998, with operations in North America, Latin America and Europe.
The company was recently acquired by multibillion-dollar distribution giant DCC Technology in a deal that will further increase resources and catch up with Stampede and its business partners.
Stampede President and CEO Kevin Kelly welcomed the Datapath partnership as an agreement that fits with its current product offering. "For more than 35 years, Datapath's solutions have helped revolutionize video distribution and management for thousands of customers around the world and now, with Stampede's support, they will be able to reach the Latin American market more widely and deeper. Datapath's solutions are a perfect complement to our current portfolio of offerings and will enable our regional resellers to customize system solutions across all major vertical markets," he said.
Small- and medium-scale digital signage continues to thrive in Latin America, and Datapath's award-winning processors and controllers provide reliability and power to showcase projects of any size.
Greg Babbs, Datapath's sales manager for the region, said: "Our Fx4 controller is known and trusted around the world and we are confident that it will be a popular choice for Stampede's customer base. In addition, with the availability of our new Hx4 and the latest additions to the iolite range, we now have a solution for any requirement of multiple screens or video walls.
He added: "From Chile to Mexico, Latin America continues to embrace digital signage. Security projects and smaller control centers are an area of growth, but there is also strong demand in the rental market, ideal for our robust yet portable control hardware."
To coincide with the partnership, Datapath has recently delivered one-day training sessions at Stampede's Latam offices, ensuring that all staff are up to date with the latest Datapath technology. New training sessions are planned towards the end of the year.
