Mexico. TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Mexico 2018 successfully met expectations and closed its eighth edition with figures that exceed the results of previous years. The exhibition and congress of integrated multimedia technology was held at the WTC in Mexico City, between August 15 and 17, and this time also included the DataNet Expo 2018, making the offer of exhibitors, brands, conferences and seminars much more attractive for visitors.
Together, both exhibitions achieved a total participation of 6,991 people, including exhibitors and the general public with profiles such as integrators, distributors, customers and users of the industry of multimedia av technology solutions, networks, data and IT. This large group of professionals had at their disposal the novelties of 120 exhibitors willing to generate new business opportunities in the Mexican market.
"Our exhibitors are very happy, they had excellent results, they were able to do good business, this gives us the certainty that we are the benchmark for the industry of audiovisual systems, automation, home automation and integrated systems," said Verónica Marín, Country Manager of TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Mexico.
The updating of knowledge was also part of the activities of both exhibitions. A total of 1,496 people attended the different conferences of the TecnoMultimedia Summits and the professional training programs of AVIXA and DataNet Mexico.
"The premise of DataNet Mexico 2018 was convergence and precisely during these days of event we could see that this is the trend that marks the industry; the convergence of IT infrastructure, networks and the Internet is underpinning all other economic sectors," added Alejandra García, Project Manager of DataNet Mexico.
"What this first edition of DataNet Mexico leaves us with is the certainty that every time the network, cabling and IT industry is more necessary to integrate all the economic sectors of the country and the region. The Mexican market continues to be at the forefront; it is one of the strongest and most consolidated. Organized jointly by AVIXA (The Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association) and AVI LATINOAMÉRICA magazine, the next edition of the TecnoMultimedia InfoComm series will be held in Bogotá.
