Brazil. The systems and audiovisual integration fair, TecnoMultimídia InfoComm Brasil, TMI, reached an agreement with SID to produce its Latin American conference for the display technology market - LatinDisplay, following the parameters of the TMI event in April in São Paulo.
The LatinDisplay is the continuation of the FOCUS of the SID on the display technology community, and will be held on one of the three days of the TMI, between April 2 and 4, 2019, simultaneously with the Digital Signage Summit at the TransAmerica Expo Center. LatinDisplay has been held every two years for more than 15 years and has been important in the creation of Display Environments in Brazil and Latin America.
The Society for Information Visualization (SID) is comprised of the best scientists, engineers, corporate researchers, and business people in the display industry, representing more than $100 billion annually. Sid was founded in 1962 to enact display technology, and that work continues to this day, publishing monthly SID magazines, Information Display Magazine, and Digest of Technical Papers annually.
"We are happy to welcome LatinDisplay to TecnoMultimídia InfoComm," said Max Jaramillo, Director of TMI Brazil. "We have made quite a bit of progress with integrators and end users of the digital signage community in Brazil with our Digital Signage Summit. With LatinDisplay, we will now be able to offer academic content that also addresses the technology needs of the display sector.
For her part, Alaide Mammana, Director of the SID Chapter for Latin America, said "We are happy to form an alliance with TecnoMultimídia InfoComm for the production of LatinDisplay next year. It's a perfect partnership with their Digital Signage Summit conference."
TMI Brazil is part of tecnoMultimídia InfoComm's Latin American circuit of integrated professional audio and video fairs in Brazil, Colombia and Mexico. In addition, AVIXA is the organizer of InfoComm fairs around the world.
