The Youth Olympic Games, held every two years (Winter and Summer Games organized in alternate years to the Adult Games), are a multi-sport event organized by the International Olympic Committee. Buenos Aires 2018 is the scene of 32 sports and 36 disciplines. It is the debut of karate, sport climbing, breaking, speed skating, futsal, kitboarding, beach handball and freestyle BMX.
