Argentina. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the main Christian denomination of the Latter-day Saint Movement. It is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States, and has more than 16 million members distributed in congregations throughout 140 countries.
One of the temples where its members meet is located in the neighborhood of Ciudad Evita, in Buenos Aires, where in October Powersoft amplifiers were incorporated to work with their own sound systems mounted with JBL speakers.
Each of the temples, in all parts of the world, has the advice of a specialized sound engineer who works from the headquarters in Salt Lake City and it was he who recommended the use of Ottocanali amplifiers, from the Powersoft line for installations.
"We are using three Ottocanalli 1204 DSP, and we leave one reserve, to play audio from a media player," said electrical engineer Enrique Retamales Orellana, Temple Facilities Manager of the church. "We are getting very good results with these amplifiers, which are very versatile and compact":
Enrique commented that the entire installation was carried out by the local technical staff of the church with the advice of the engineer in the United States. "Powersoft amplifiers are very reliable and we have had a pleasant experience since they were installed."
Ottocanali 1204 DSP includes digital signal processing functionality for the eight channels of the amplifier (1,280 W of output power) along with Ethernet connectivity to be fully controlled and monitored through the ArmoníaPlus software, in addition to being compatible with other Powersoft amplifiers of the Touring line (Series K and M) and Install (Duecanali and Quattrocanali Series).
