Latin America. The Company Sennheiser made some high-caliber product launches at NAMM. These include entry-level wireless systems for musicians and video professionals, along with two new in-Ears from the IE range, as well as the SK 6212 mini-bodypack transmitter for audio and live broadcasting applications.
Ambeo 3D
Immersive 3D audio continues to make its way into productions worldwide. Sennheiser introduced the Ambeo VR Mic in a variety of new applications such as: immersive podcasting, video games and immersive music productions. Dear Reality, a partner at Sennheiser, showcased its dearVR Spatial Connect mixing software, which allows engineers and creators to mix VR into VR.
3D audio was also part of the AES@NAMM program, where Sennheiser's Gio Jacuzzi introduced participants to the world of recording, mixing and reproducing immersive binaural content with his presentation "Dynamic and Static Binaural Recording, Mixing and Reproduction for Immersive Audio".
Participants learned more about the different binaural practices (Dummy Head and Ambisonics), as well as the underlying technologies. In the same way, they were able to know how the Neumann KU 100 binaural head, the Ambeo Smart Headset and the Ambeo VR Mic are used.
