Mexico. When Elation Professional showed off the new Rayzor 760 luminaire with patent-pending SparkLED technology at trade shows in Europe and North America last fall, the response from LDs on both sides of the Atlantic was very positive. Now Elation announced that it is available since February in the U.S. and Mexico, and since March in Europe.
Powered by seven 60-watt RGBW LEDs and independently controlled with a wide zoom of 5 to 77 degrees, the Rayzor 760 can produce an intense, well-defined airborne beam of over 8000 lumens that stands out in any scenario and then extends exceptionally wide to even wash the coverage.
The accessory's seven large front lenses create a large surface area that is enhanced by SparkLED technology, 28x white 2W LEDs strategically placed inside the lenses to create a unique additional effect layer. Dedicated high-brightness pixels offer lighting designers all the new possibilities to create layers of effects through sleek lens lighting and eye glow effects.
The new effect concept is unique to the Rayzor 760 and allows designers to access a fresh, fun and innovative way to create interest and depth on stage. Spark LEDs are controllable through the lighting console or controlled by a multitude of internal effect patterns.
In addition to its powerful washing effect and enhanced effects, this new visual effect offers continuous and precise rotation and tilt, allowing for variable speed from slow to extremely fast. The combination of its powerful output with SparkLED while using 360° motion opens up for a multitude of design possibilities, from beams in the air or wide stage washes to more subtle effects for mood generation, both off and on camera.
