Bose systems renew sound in Mexico City club

Mexico. Otto Bar is an elegant nightclub located in the heart of the Roma neighborhood, which has capacity for 200 people and a style that combines the best of the discos of the 70s with the "clubs" of the new millennium.

The space is presented as a unique alternative to listen to House, Nu-Disco and Downtempo music with the best sound fidelity thanks to the inclusion of a Bose Professional system composed of portable F1 Model 812 Flexible Arrangement speakers, F1 subwoofers and Bose S1 Pro multi-position compact speakers.

In this club, decorated with mirrors on ceilings and walls, multicolored indirect lights and curtains that divide the dance floor from the table area and at the same time section the place according to the needs of the event or influx of the same, the technical team installed four F1 Model 812 speakers and four F1 subwoofers from Bose Professional to create an immersive and festive atmosphere in the space.

"We needed a sound system with the best fidelity, good volume and good bass; something that would make you feel the music when you listen to it," says Víctor Mondragón, partner and booker of the Otto Bar. "[Bose F1] feels it vibrate, but even at a high volume you can talk and listen to other people without having to strain."

- Publicidad -

The flexible arrangement of the F1 speakers is perfectly combined with the layout of the Otto Bar space, since, being suspended at the top of the enclosure (near the ceiling), the musicians or sound engineers themselves can easily change the coverage pattern of the equipment and direct it directly to the public if required, or, point it upwards and let the waves bounce and distribute to every corner of the place. This arrangement is complemented by four F1 subwoofers, specially placed at the audience level, which deliver that famous "punch" on the chest every time the DJ unleashes the bass frequencies.

The DJ booth, meanwhile, adds a pair of Bose S1 Pro speakers as a monitor to keep musicians focused on the flow of their mixes and precision in their crossfades, without needing to completely isolate themselves from the hustle and bustle of people with a pair of headphones.

A traveling concept
Already with a year of roots and experience in its current headquarters, Otto Bar now seeks to explore new destinations with an itinerant presence in different events throughout the country, through pop-up activations that manifest themselves as temporary versions of itself (with the same audiovisual concept) within festivals and celebrations in Tulum, Playa del Carmen or the Riviera Maya.

The F1 and Bose S1 Pro systems perfectly meet the mobile needs of Otto Bar as they are portable equipment (weighing 20.1 kg and 7.1 kg, respectively) and versatile that can be easily assembled or disassembled from their normal location within the club and accompany resident DJs or guest artists wherever activation takes place, either an open space on the beach or an enclosed enclosure in the city. S1 Pro even has a rechargeable battery that offers total autonomy and freedom of movement to users, and wireless operation when used in Bluetooth mode with a compatible mobile device.

"In an electronic music venue, audio is key. Everyone is delighted with the fidelity of the system, everyone has congratulated us for the sound", concludes Víctor Mondragón.
