Latin America. The company Panasonic launched two new monitors for videowall models TH-55VF2H and TH-55VF2, allow to create practically uniform configurations of several screens to display dynamic and large images. It can be used in a 2x2 configuration with daisy-chaining via DisplayPort, thus combining all the points of a 4K signal with a single input.
In addition, a new professional LCD screen (TH-55LFV9) has been added to the LFV series, with an ultra-thin frame width of 3.5 mm. Panasonic uses highly durable components in the production of both ranges, ensuring continuous 24-hour operation and responding to the needs of critical applications.
The three models of 55-inch screens have a brightness of 700 cd/m2 (TH-55VF2H) or 500 cd/m2 (TH-55VF2/TH-55LFV9), so users can choose the most suitable model for their needs depending on where the installation is located. In addition, all displays employ In Plane Switching technology for excellent visibility from any angle, and the surface of the new panels is designed to reduce brightness and suppress external reflections.
Uniformity has also been improved in the two new series, as each multi-screen configuration has been pre-calibrated to minimize color differences.
Another standout feature is a two-system input switch, which can be used to increase signal safety with failover and failback functions, should it be needed. This ensures a high level of reliability on all screens. The installation process is easier than ever thanks to an original application that simplifies system configuration.
The LFV9 series will be available from October 2019, while the VF2 series will be available in early 2020.
