Latin America. Leyard's Latin American subsidiary announced the name of executive Robert Stewart as its new CEO in the region. Stewart arrives to boost the brand's consolidation strategy in Latin America and strengthen the company's relationship with local partners and integrators.
The new CEO has a bold goal: to strengthen the performance of the brand's office in São Paulo and expand sales throughout Brazil and other Latin American countries. With more than 40 years of experience in high-tech products in the LCD and LED segment, Stewart was for 30 years a senior manager in companies around the world, excelling in the global market as managing director of Leyard's units in Asia and Europe.
"Leyard has optimistic projections for 2019, especially for Brazil and Latin America. Our challenge is to focus on the broadcast, control rooms and digital signage segments, in addition to training the entire corporation through marketing strategies and training aimed at the local market," he says.
The company earned $1.2 billion in 2018 globally and expects to increase revenue in the Latin American region as a whole by 50% in 2019.
