AVI LATINOAMÉRICA spoke with Cristian Jarry, Sales Manager Latin America of beyerdynamic, and Javier Neri Torres, of the Mexican distributor Navits, about this link and the presence of the brand in the region.
How is the Latin American market for beyerdynamic?
The market in Latin America has always been a changing and growing market, fortunately beyerdynamic has been able to contemplate the needs and respond with products that facilitate and solve in a simple way one or several needs at the same time, but always keeping the best cost-benefit ratio that allows both integrators and end users the best experience in its use and application.
beyerdynamic has for the Latin American market a selection of distributors for each country, in some cases with more than one distributor to serve different segments in particular.
What are the strongest markets for the company in the region?
I have no doubt that at some point everyone has heard of beyerdynamic for headphones and wired microphones for study, however, being a brand that has more than 96 years making microphones and developing technology, it has known how to innovate in markets such as Communication with ceiling microphones, wired and wireless conference systems, two-way communication systems for guided tours, simultaneous interpretation, wireless microphones, etc., always keeping the best balance between excellent quality and durability.
Undoubtedly, the strongest regions for beyerdynamic are Mexico and Colombia.
Please mention what's new in technology for the company in the region?
Currently beyerdynamic has an open letter for Latin America for the distribution of its entire catalog of solutions. We have from analog microphones for ceiling with polar patterns different from conventional ones to improve the capture of an entire room, to digital wireless microphones with encryption with a range of more than 300 meters of range.
I will be frank, if I talk about solutions we could talk about technologies very similar to other great and friendly brands, but the difference that beyerdynamic has against others is the way in which it manages to give a robust, functional and above all simple solution, with products that surprise for their simplicity and that stand out in terms of the unified communications market.
How has the company's attention been in the region during this time of the Covid19 pandemic?
First of all and alluding to this current context and new normal, we want everyone to be well. Speaking of beyerdynamic, I must say that it has taken in hands a great responsibility since at the same time as following the production in the factory with the relevant sanitary measures and with its always commitment to make punctual shipments, it has been part of giving solutions for Covid hospitals that have required intercom systems, to facilitating solutions for microphones that can be used from home for videoconferences, calls, etc.
I mention this because beyer has had a very large season of webinars carried out in conjunction with the distributors Navits in Mexico and Elektra in Bolivia, to provide solutions with beyerdynamic products for this new normal.
