Latin America. Following the success of its Microflex Advance line of microphones for AV conferencing, Shure launches the MXA710 Linear Microphone. This is an important component in Shure's new conference audio ecosystem that represents the next evolution in Shure's microphone technology.
This new model is designed to achieve high-quality audio capture in premium AV conferencing environments. Whether under or next to a wall-mounted display, suspended from the ceiling or recessed into a table, the MXA710's discreet format subtly integrates into the aesthetics of any meeting room without sacrificing audio quality. It is an ideal alternative for spaces where the MXA910 or MXA310 might not be the best option
Patented Steerable Coverage™ technology captures audio anywhere in the room, with four lobes on the 2-foot microphone and eight lobes on the 4-foot microphone.
With integrated IntelliMix® DSP, the MXA710 offers Automatic Mixing, Acoustic Echo Cancellation, Noise Reduction and Automatic Gain Control, providing all the processing needed to achieve echo- and noise-free audio, ensuring end users have a unified, high-quality AV conferencing experience. Autofocus™ technology makes a fine adjustment of each position of the lobe in real time, adjusting to the movements of the meeting participants.
By using the Designer System Configuration software for equipment deployment, room coverage templates allow for easy and quick lobe optimization, specifically for wall, ceiling or table installations.
The MXA710 is available in two sizes: 2 feet (60 cm) or 4 feet (120 cm) and in three colors (white, black and aluminum). In addition, it supports Dante and AES67 audio network protocols. It is powered by PoE (mains power) and includes LED bars on each end of the microphone with configurable colors and brightness. The smaller format is ideal for huddle rooms and smaller meeting spaces that are equipped with video conferencing to provide greater virtual meeting capacity.
Along with the MXA710 Linear Microphone, the MXA Network Mute Button is also being launched, an accessory consisting of a configurable PoE-powered mute button designed to mute/activate Shure's network system products, such as all MXA microphones, the IntelliMix® P300 and IntelliMix Room DSPs, and the ANIUSB-MATRIX network audio interface. The button offers simple, unprogrammed mute functionality for one or more networked devices in the room and is also compatible with control systems of other brands via chains of command.
The MXA710 will be available worldwide later this year.
