AVI LATINOAMÉRICA spoke with the company's representative, Javier Guerra Gutiérrez, who stressed that the company offers equipment for corporate meeting rooms, commercial projects such as office floors, restaurants, sports clubs, etc., as well as VIP residential projects.
On the progress of the audiovisual industry in his country in recent years, he said that it is a very dynamic industry and with advances, we could say newspapers. With the facilities of the Internet, many computers have migrated to IP protocols. Nowadays it is difficult to imagine a computer that is not connected to the Ethernet network.
When asked why he decided to join ConsorcioTec™, he said that "As a company with the possibility of importing for us it is easier and more convenient to try to make purchases directly from the manufacturer, since in this way we can obtain better prices and we have the direct support of the manufacturer. ConsorcioTec opens more doors for us in this regard. Also, and unfortunately, when we have problems with some equipment, the response times are very slow with the national distributions."
Among the benefits he hopes his company can have from ConsorcioTec, he highlighted some, such as accessing more manufacturers, obtaining direct support, increasing projects.
Finally, on the impact that the emergency generated by the Covid-19 pandemic may have on the audiovisual industry, Javier Guerra Gutiérrez commented that "It will definitely have some impact on the industry. We believe that some companies that were also affected by this situation may delay their investments in AV equipment or seek better prices or make more comparisons between integrators."
