Latin America. The company DAS Audio has taken advantage of this time of pandemic to strengthen its relationship with customers in Latin America, with more direct contact and activities focused on the region.
Leandro Arguello, sales director for Latin America of the company, told AVI LATINOAMÉRICA that "This period helped us to look inward, improve strategies in all areas of the company, but without a doubt some of us never communicate as much with customers as now, and that does not mean that we did not do it before, we barely potentiate it with more webinars, marketing campaigns, virtual meetings."
The company also created a weekly program for Latin America broadcast by its official Facebook page, El Alma del Show, which allows them to invite leading professionals from the entertainment industry to bring their experiences and knowledge to customers, which gives them the possibility to interact live and help with doubts and queries related to the topics addressed and / or their interests.
Impact of Covid-19
On the impact of the pandemic on the industry, Leandro Arguello stressed that it is undoubtedly negative and even difficult to measure. "During these more than 100 days of the pandemic in the region, what we have been working on most with customers are installation projects, generating punctual sales even during this period and supporting system proposals for current and future projects. We are particularly optimistic and envision a normality in business activities sooner than many expect."
The pandemic also affected the company's plans to launch new products, mainly fixed installation solutions. Today they have 2 new models of amplifiers of the IA series, with greater power, IA-1602 and IA-1604, as well as the new IO-48 processor, which allows greater control and management possibilities in integration projects.
"From the factory we already have them available, but due to the world situation some shipments of the distributors were stopped, but we believe that from August they should begin to arrive in the different countries of Latin America," he concluded.
The company looks forward to continuing to celebrate 25 years of history of presence in the Americas together with its customers
