Logitech, Jabra, Vaddio and Yamaha join ClickShare alliance

barcoLatin America. Barco announced that major meeting room players Logitech, Jabra, Vaddio and Yamaha have joined its new ClickShare Alliance program.

Together with key partners, Barco aims to deliver better hybrid meetings, powered by the ClickShare portfolio and alliance partner peripherals. As a result, customers can enjoy a simple one-click wireless conferencing solution with guaranteed compatibility for their workplace.

In dealing with the challenges brought by the pandemic, a much-needed new balance between the home office and the workplace resulted in hybrid ways of working and meeting (i.e., employees are partly remote and partly in the office), where video has been accepted as a natural form of collaboration.

Now, as companies embrace this new normal of hybrid ways and return step-by-step to the office, it has become clear that connecting remote and in-room participants in meetings is still far from an engaging experience. That's why they developed ClickShare Conference.

Combining complementary strengths with partners who have a wealth of expertise in productivity, control, peripherals, or unified communications, Barco wants to build a strong ecosystem for meeting and collaboration experiences.

"At Barco we believe that strong and lasting partnerships are key to growing businesses effectively. Having these best partners on board in our Alliance Program only underscores the market appeal of our ClickShare proposition. Most importantly, we can offer customers proven, validated and certified solutions for better hybrid meetings. Because great things happen when partners click," says David Fitzgerald, Barco's vice president of global alliances.

Barco's ClickShare alliance partner program features three different levels of partnership, from Compatible to Strategic. The first level of partnership, Compatible, offers customers solutions for meeting rooms that have been verified for technical compatibility. The second level, Certificate, gives customers even more peace of mind, as products are tested and validated every quarter to check their compatibility. And at the third level, Strategic, product functionalities can be integrated between Barco and the partner, for a superior user experience. Needless to say, different levels of partners also come with distinct joint marketing and joint business development benefits for partners.
