Barco renews its RGB lasers

Láser RGB ODL-715

International. Barco's RGB lasers, used as light sources in Mitsubishi rear-projection cubes, enhanced the visual experience with their high brightness and long service life. With their recent update they offer ease of installation, improve image quality and reduce energy consumption.

Manuel Navarrete, LVX Leader Latin America, commented: "Barco now offers a business opportunity for the upgrade of 67 SXGA+ systems, based on lamps/LEDs inherited from Mitsubishi. By upgrading your equipment you get various benefits, ranging from less operational disruption during installation, maximum image quality or minimizing control room downtime, to the most important one that is to extend the life of the system."

In the characteristics of the RGB of Barco highlights its greater brightness and image quality, the lower cost of installation taking advantage of the existing infrastructure, the guarantee and service offers. Likewise, the company ensures that by using this solution the downtime of the control room is minimized, due to its update. In addition, it considers as an advantage the color balance in real time and brightness calibrations with Barco Sense X.

Additionally, another feature to highlight is that the RGB Laser of the brand has the label of ecological product, because it allows a reduction of the environmental footprint, providing more energy efficiency.

Reasons for the upgrade
In addition to improving image quality, Barco ensures that with this update operating and installation costs are reduced. It uses up to 50% less energy consumption, while retaining high brightness levels. Likewise, existing technology and infrastructure are used in its installation. That is, this product reduces operating costs with a more convenient Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

In that sense, the update adapts to your current system, since its mechanical frame is maintained. All mechanical components remain in place, so no structural adjustments are necessary.

Finally, for Manuel Navarrete, this update is an opportunity to add useful years of service, "because through the integration of the new projection module based on LASER RGB-SXGA + in the existing Mitsu Lamp/LED based systems, the updated system is ready for years of additional service without any architectural or physical impact on its environment".
