Mexico. Cisco Live! Cancun, one of the leading IT industry conferences in the region that brings together customers, experts and business partners from different levels and market segments, in its 2018 version will invite participants to imagine what is possible through intuitive networks.
This year, from December 4 to 7, more than 5,500 attendees are expected who will have access to top-notch education, training in the company's portfolio's main solutions and trends, as well as certification in Cisco technologies in an environment that promotes exploration and the exchange of ideas.
Cisco Live Cancun 2018 is made up of the following programs:
Technical education program: Attendees can create their own agenda focusing on a single topic or attend different sessions to have a multidisciplinary approach. Attendees will be able to choose from more than 120 technical sessions focused on cloud, collaboration, data centers, enterprise networks, Internet of Things, mobility, security and service providers.
Technical Seminars: The sessions are seven hours focused on technology concepts, architectures, design principles and best practices. The seminars are free of charge and take place on Wednesday, December 5 from 11:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m. This year seminars related to: Collaboration, Data Centers, Enterprise Networks and Security are offered.
Technical Design Clinics: They are open slate discussions that allow you to discuss doubts with a Technical Community Advocate (TCA) or a certified Cisco representative, to obtain a perspective for the strategy you want to implement.
IT Management: Program designed to cultivate the unique combination of business acuity and technological expertise needed to help organizations succeed in the digital age. The program is focused on personal and business leadership and technology.
Hands-on labs: Participants will have the opportunity to learn about technology and apply knowledge through hands-on experience in a controlled environment. Several of the labs assist in preparation for Cisco certification exams. Labs are free for Cisco Live attendees! There are two options to choose from:
Instructor-led labs: Attendees can participate in hypothetical scenarios and practice risky operations on the network in a simulated environment moderated by a Cisco expert.
Self-study laboratories: Participants have the opportunity to work in pre-designed scenarios to learn from technologies that can transform their business. Participants can also explore complete configurations and new features to help them make recommendations about the best solutions for their workplaces.

Meet the expert: This is one of the most valuable programs on Cisco Live! The program offers the opportunity to talk with a Cisco engineer, distinguished engineer, senior development engineer, Cisco Fellow, or executive in one-on-one conversations that can focus on specific questions or challenges.
Executive Symposium: Exclusive event for CxOs, which allows executives from different industries to gain technical, business and market knowledge through the exclusive engagement with their peers, innovators and Cisco executive leadership.
Industry Summit: It consists of sessions to promote the exchange of ideas about IT applied in sectors such as financial, industrial (manufacturing, oil and gas, mining), public sector, education, health and service providers.
Cisco Empowered Women's Network: For the sixth year, the annual women's forum is held at Cisco Live! Cancun. It consists of a network that includes partners, customers and employees who come together to make a difference for women working in IT. CEWN takes place on Friday, December 7 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
DevNet zone: It provides developers with the tools, resources, and code needed to build innovative network-enabled solutions. Participants will have personal access to technical experts who will help them practice with open and Cisco SDKs, as well as APIs. They will also be able to acquire knowledge, skills and the connections needed to advance in their area of interest. In addition, they will have access to specific Sessions related to DevNet on development, programming and applications, as well as learning labs to have practical experience in programming. The DevNet area will also have some demos focused on the world of programming and applications.
Partner Xperience Day takes place on Monday, December 3, focused on partner content, as well as activities for executives, sales, marketers and technical leaders for partners of all kinds.
Marketing Velocity: This is the second edition of the event at Cisco Live! Cancun and is held within the Partner Xperience Day. Marketing Velocity is for marketing executives from Cisco's leading global partners. Participants will have an in-depth view of current trends and share knowledge within the community. Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore the latest Cisco partner tools to implement their marketing strategy.
In addition, participants will have access to the World of Solutions, an impressive exhibition area where more than 80 business partners and technology providers will present the latest in products along with Cisco solutions that will be presented at the Cisco Showcase, where attendees will have the opportunity to explore more than 100 demonstrations of technologies related to the education industries , financial services, public sector, healthcare, industry, service providers and smart cities.
Attendees interested in taking their certification exams during Cisco Live! they will have access to a special discount of up to 75 percent if they pre-register before December 3 and 50 percent on-site.
Cisco Live! it takes place annually in only four cities in the world: Orlando, Barcelona, Melbourne and Cancun. Last year Cisco Live!
