Mexico. With an attendance of more than 2,630 visitors to the event, TecnoMultimedia and its side events, TecnoTelevisión and Expo DataNet, returned from August 17 to 19 to Mexico City, at the WTC International Exhibition and Convention Center.
The event concluded with positive comments from attendees and exhibitors of the commercial exhibition, who highlighted the quality of the visitors and the new projects that will be launched after this meeting to reactivate the audiovisual industry, broadcast and data transmission.
It should be noted that in this tenth edition of TecnoMultimedia, together with TecnoTelevisión & Radio (2nd edition) and Expo DataNet (3rd edition) around 50 brands were presented in approximately 3,500 m2 of commercial sample.
One of the aspects that most highlighted the exhibitors was the quality of the visitors to their stands, people of very specialized knowledge and very clear interest in establishing business contacts. Verónica Saldarriaga, Regional Sales Director of Mersive, exhibitor of TecnoMultimedia, stressed that they have had an "excellent expo, with many visitors from our industry, all very interested in our product, and we are very happy to return after the obligatory break of two years".
Erick Martinez of Amphenol Network Solutions, expo datanet exhibitor, also highlighted the quality of the visitors and expressed his expectations to return as an exhibitor in 2023, while Nelson Solares, Regional Sales Director for LATAM of Hall Technologies mentioned that his experience as an exhibitor "has been incredible and I am happy to see the people who after the pandemic are returning to normal; we have had very good business during this event."
Of course, the award ceremony of the AV Latino Contest was also a central activity in TecnoMultimedia, after an open vote among the readers of the magazine AVI Latinoamérica, the official media of the event, who chose the CETRO Mirador de Alta Tecnología project of the integrator ZaSu Mexico. This project is located on the 46th floor of the renowned WTC building in Mexico City, a 360-degree viewpoint overlooking the entire city with technological support and augmented reality. The award ceremony took place on Thursday, August 18 within the framework of TecnoMultimedia and the recognition was given to Miguel González, representative of the company. In addition to the statuette, the award includes a trip to the renowned ISE fair in Europe, with accommodation and free tickets to the event and its academic activities, sponsored by the organization Integrated Systems Europe.
On the other hand, the program of 30 technical-commercial conferences covered the three main themes of the events, from the integration of audiovisual technology, TV and radio transmission, and data transmission, including talks by the KNX Association, Supporting Show Sponsor of TecnoMultimedia, on the use and advantages of this communication protocol between devices.
Regarding the next edition, Verónica Marín, Project Manager of TecnoMultimedia, TecnoTelevisión & Radio and Expo DataNet stressed that "we are happy with our return and we welcome the positive comments of exhibitors and visitors, who are happy to visit us again. Of course, we already have a lot of interest from our historical exhibitors for 2023, as well as the new ones who entered this year and our purpose is to surprise them again with a renewed image and activities."
