Latin America. Wesco signed a definitive agreement to acquire Rahi Systems Holdings, Inc., a privately held company headquartered in Fremont, California. According to the information disclosed, the agreement is for US$217 million.
The purchase price represents approximately 7.5 times Rahi's adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) for the last twelve months.
Rahi Systems serves the entire lifecycle of data center solutions by helping its customers manage and simplify technology. With this acquisition, Wesco will combine Rahi with its strategic communication and security solutions (CSS) business unit.
"This acquisition strengthens our leading data center solution offerings for our global customers," said John Engel, wesco's president and chief executive officer. "Rahi's broad portfolio of services serving the world's leading hyperscale data center providers expands cross-selling opportunities across our enterprise."

In 2020, Wesco had acquired the company Anixter.
