Latin America. InfoComm 2023 brought together the professional audiovisual industry during a vibrant week in which incredible technological innovations, an extensive educational program and numerous networking events were showcased. InfoComm 2023, organized by AVIXA, took place from June 10 to 16, in Orlando.

In total, the number of registrations for this edition of InfoComm amounted to 36,639 people. The fair received 29,325 verified attendees from 115 countries. International visitors accounted for 20% of the total. In addition, for 37% of people, InfoComm 2023 was their first experience at this fair. And more than 2 thousand people participated in the continuous training courses.

At the fairgrounds, 700 exhibitors showcased professional audiovisual products and solutions on an area of 109,331 square meters in the West Concourse of the Orange County Convention Center.

During InfoComm 2023, AV professionals who wanted to earn the top certification in the AV industry sat for AVIXA's Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) exams. As a result of these exams applied during the fair, a total of 156 professionals obtained their CTS certification divided as follows: 112 reached the CTS level, 27 the CTS-D, as design specialists and 17 the CTS-I, as installation specialists.

The AVIXA Congress had its first face-to-face edition within the InfoComm 2023 educational program and received 80 Spanish-speaking attendees who participated in the four sessions on Tuesday, June 13. That same day, the first Spanish-language broadcast was held on AVIXA TV with a talk show in which AVIXA Congress speakers shared their ideas with a much wider audience.

"It's been an incredible week at InfoComm 2023, seeing the potential of these creative minds coming together to showcase professional solutions for the AV industry that improve our world," said David Labuskes, CTS, CAE, RCDD, CEO of AVIXA. "Witnessing the evolution of an industry in real time is very inspiring. I know attendees will return home with endless new ideas and business contacts, with the energy needed for the months ahead."

The organization of the event announced that InfoComm 2024 will take place in the city of Las Vegas from June 8 to 14 (exhibition from 12 to 14) at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
