Latin America. Panasonic Connect participated in Infocomm 2023, where it demonstrated the expansion of its portfolio of AV Pro and projector solutions that prioritize flexibility and ease of use to achieve unique experiences that exceed creative expectations.
Its new solutions support a wide variety of industries, from the corporate world and education to live entertainment and temples of worship, delivering increasingly engaging user experiences. On this occasion, the company's focus was on immersive experiences and connected ecosystems.
Panasonic's integrated and simplified production systems, combined with its projection technology and interactive displays, are key to fueling immersive productions.
Based on its next-generation Kairos IT/IP Live live production platform and ST 2110 compatible PTZ and studio cameras, it exhibited during the event its new laser projectors PT-REQ 12KU 4K 1DLP and PT-MZ 20KL 3LCD, which were distinguished by the Infocomm organization with the "Best of Show" award.
The REQ series are state-of-the-art 1-Chip DLP 4K laser projectors that are designed to expand the endless possibilities of entertainment, offering exceptional and highly engaging immersive experiences up to 12,000 LM, 4K resolution and 240 HZ projection capability.
The compact and lightweight PT-MZ series provides 20,000 hours of maintenance-free operation, with full brightness and AC 120 V power, eliminating the need for the installation of a high-voltage power supply.
Another novelty of Panasonic's visual offer during the show was the presentation of the PT-RZ14KU 3-Chip DLP projector, ideal for the production of live events that require a flexible solution: it is 40% smaller and weighs 20% less than its predecessor, the PT-RZ12KU.
"In this edition of Infocomm, Panasonic has focused on the demonstration of its solutions with immersive projection through high definition projectors, offering an absolutely unparalleled projection quality," said Rodrigo Costa, Sales Manager of Panasonic do Brasil.
Regarding connected ecosystems, the Japanese brand's commitment has gone through the offer of innovative and collaborative technological solutions that are critical to maximize retention and productivity. To this end, it also exhibited an ecosystem that integrates projection, display, digital signage and audio technology combined with connected video production platforms, including camera solutions.
"In our stand we simulate a room connected with Ultra Short projectors, integrating the series of professional displays, microphone systems and PTZ cameras, which moves depending on where the audio emitted by each interlocutor comes from regardless of whether it is in person or remotely," said Costa.
Among the main novelties of the product line for AV Pro that made their debut at Infocomm highlighted the high-end AW-UE160 PTZ cameras, which comes with a 4K 1 MOS sensor that offers the highest sensitivity of the entire line, and the AW-UR100, which has an optical pass filter that reduces the so-called 'Moirè Effect' and is ideal for sports due to its high-speed frame rate.
Also outstanding were the AK-HC3900 studio camera, which comes with the AK-SFC391 key code and is compatible with ST 2110; the compact AV-HSW10 switcher for live production, supporting IP for high-quality video streaming deliveries; and the two next-generation Kairos Core mainframes, the mid-range AT-KC200 and the high-end AT-KC2000s.
