Latin America. Extron announced the new MGP 641 xi 5K multi-window processors to scale and present up to four 5K sources on a single screen, including 5K and ultrawide display devices.
Supported video signals reach up to 5120x2880 resolution with 4:4:4 color sampling, and our unique 4K Vector™ upscaling engine ensures that content upscaled at lower and higher resolution is presented in unmatched image quality.
In addition to four HDMI inputs that support data rates of up to 18 Gbps, HDCP 2.3-compatible processors include a background HDMI input for presenting live, unscaled content behind source windows at resolutions up to 5K.
The MGP 641 xi 5K SDI supports 12G-SDI sources in addition to HDMI. An HDMI output supports a local display device, while the DTP3 output can control a remote display device located up to 100 m (330 ft) away with identical content.
The MGP 641 xi 5K's scaling engine, rack-mount format, and wide variety of presentation and transition effects combine to create the optimal signal processing solution for corporate boardrooms, training rooms, and live broadcast environments such as public auditoriums. They are equally effective in critical spaces that require the display of live information, from a situation room or control room to the cascading of multiple MGP 641 xi 5K units into a command center.
To emphasize your talking points, easily annotate over live content enabled with an optional LinkLicense. Annotations can include freehand drawings, shapes, lines, and arrows, each with selectable colors.
