Spain. In an initiative aimed at promoting the change from traditional incandescent bulbs to more efficient bulbs, Philips alumbrado has signed an agreement with the University of Granada for the benefit of the entire university community. It is estimated that about 50,000 light bulbs will be distributed in the campaign.
The campaign has been running throughout the month of February and allows teachers, administrative staff and students to buy up to 25 energy-efficient light bulbs at a price of half the value.
It should be remembered that these bulbs can reduce energy consumption by 80%, which leads to a significant reduction in CO2 emissions, in addition to energy and economic savings.
