Honduras. Sony's Video Wall Ziris Canvas system was presented last week in Honduras to renowned companies in the audiovisual sector. The system consists of 9 47" monitors, which can be installed at angles of 0º to 360º to form a video wall.
AVI Latin America had the opportunity to speak with the company Comunicaciones Globales, Sony's representative in its Central American offices for the video conferencing, video security and display divisions, about the importance of having this option for the market in the region.
Alejandro Carbajal, general manager of Global Communications, explained that this system is ideal to be used in television sets, shopping centers, sports centers and similar projects.
In addition, he stressed that the arrival of this technology in Honduras places the country on the same level as nations such as Chile, the United States, Argentina, Mexico and Brazil, in which the system is also available.
"The main advantage of the product is that there is no limit on the number of screens to be installed and the video is transmitted in Ultra HD (High Definition) format, which achieves an impactful effect due to the quality of the images and animations," said Carbajal.
