International. During the last version of InfoComm Show 2011, there were several companies that received awards for their audiovisual installations during 2011. As we have already highlighted, the Colombian Eleven Producciones received one of the awards, being the only honoree in Latin America.
But well-known American companies also won awards for their work. One of them is the company BenQ, which through its line of projectors received three awards, in the categories integrator best commercial area, product installation and the classroom award.
Lars Yoder, President of BenQ America, said: "Our X60ST, LW61ST and SH960 projectors are full of innovations designed to optimise the price-performance ratio, with exceptional brightness. They are especially important in educational applications."
Another of the award-winning companies is X2O Media, which was recognized in the category integrator best commercial area in digital signage software, integration that was based on the concept of application-based social media.
Its president and CEO, David Wilkins, said: "Social media is a powerful and popular source of content for viewers, providing relevant, up-to-date information and user-generated information is our job."
Finally, Revolabs Inc, indicated that its wireless system for conferences was awarded in the categories of product installation and the most innovative in audio / videoconferencing through the IP system. "We have developed the FLX product line to redefine the conference phone, and it is gratifying that our efforts are recognized with these two prestigious awards," said Marc Cremer, Chief Operating Officer of Revolabs.
