Mexico. For supporting trade relations between Mexico and the United States for the past eight years, the U.S. government recognized Luis Fernando Hinojosa, director of Planeadores Visión.
The government of the United States wanted to recognize and highlight the work that this Mexican company carries out by presenting and promoting InfoComm in its country, in its promotion, encouraging the training of the audiovisual industry in Mexico and for collaborating in the commercial missions that attend InfoComm Show.
In this regard, Luis Fernando Hinojosa assured AVI LATINOAMÉRICA that "this award is a great achievement. For three years we were nominated and in this year we won it; it means that the United States and its trade representatives recognize us as their partners in inspiring and motivating the friendship between Mexico and the United States, as well as their trade relations."
The recognition was presented by the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Market Access and Compliance (MAC) of the United States Department of Commerce, Michael Camuñez, the consul general of that country in Monterrey, Nate Crawford, and the trade consul, John Howell.
Luis Fernando Hinojosa concluded that "I still feel a lot of emotion for such a pleasant surprise. Without our customers we would have no reason to innovate, learn and put our heart into what we do to serve them."
