Spain. The Quantum system, from the company Lutron, was selected by the BBVA Group to be used in the management of the lighting system of its employee training center, known as Campus La Moraleja.
As explained by the spokesmen of Lutron, the building represented a challenge for the system as it was a large complex of buildings with differentiated spaces, such as lounges, common areas and auditoriums, which had to offer versatility and customization in their lighting, according to the use given to each space.
Therefore, it was considered that Quantum was the ideal solution, being an integral lighting management system that minimizes consumption and optimizes the use of artificial light, in addition to allowing integration with other products to configure and monitor both artificial and natural light.
For example, natural light was regulated with motorized blinds, in addition to the installation of presence detectors with radio frequency technology and luminosity sensors.
Finally, this project sought to guarantee a reduced environmental impact so it was executed following the recommendations of the LEED certification and has ISO14001 certification in environmental management.
