Dominican Republic. To publicize the latest developments in lighting and renewable energies, the company CulturArte created Expoluz, the first fair of its kind that was held this week in the Dominican Republic.
This two-day event featured a series of conferences by international experts, as well as an exhibition with the latest developments in the market. In addition, they included a competition for young lamp designers who have a creative design, thus looking for new talents.
As explained to local media Alina Pichardo, General Manager of CultuArte, in Expoluz they sought to bring together all segments of the industry, from public and entertainment lighting, as well as lighting for interiors, both industrial and homes, theaters and recording studios. In addition, distributors of accessories and related products could be found.
This fair, which was held at the El Embajador hotel in Santo Domingo, was held within the framework of the first version of Luminofest, in which a group of artists who will have to transform the Colonia area.
To achieve this, they will illuminate the façade of buildings, squares, parks, monuments, galleries and bars in the tourism sector, demonstrating the importance of lighting in its impact on both daily life and spaces.
