Colombia. With spaces designed for the health, well-being and comfort of its nearly 130 employees, based on the Workplace Innovation (W.P.I.) model, Philips Colombia opened its offices in Bogotá.
According to information from local managers, in Latin America only the headquarters of Philips Brazil and Colombia, and soon Chile, have migrated to this type of efficient and modern offices. The Workplace Innovation model creates a large workspace, with an environment that helps employees to be more productive, inspired and creative, allowing them to share information and interact with each other more easily.
One of the key elements in the WPI concept is that the spaces are open and transparent, promoting the co-creation of the sense of well-being; this openness is reflected in the use of flexible architectural and lighting systems, which adapt to the work carried out in each of the spaces.
The office allows you to customize the work area, choose how and where to carry out the work, accompanied by a range of spaces with levels of privacy and comfort, as well as the latest technology to support flexible and mobile work.
In this way, a horizontal organization is promoted, where there are no hierarchies, no fixed positions. For this reason, group work rooms and individual spaces were enabled that have all the work facilities, such as videoconferences, Internet connection and call forwarding to cell numbers.
Philips' offices in Bogotá also introduce visitors to the most advanced LED and fluorescent technology with dimerizable electronic ballasts and the latest in control systems. By touring the spaces, customers will be able to see and feel the products that the company offers. In addition, the offices have a large showroom that exhibits its latest innovations in Lighting.
