International. Richie Hawtin, one of the pioneering DJs of Techno, has been performing the Cntrl: Beyond EDM tour, which aims to inspire the producers and DJs of tomorrow, sharing his knowledge and love for the music he helped evolve.
To meet the agreed goal of visiting 17 university campuses in an equal number of cities in the United States and Canada, Richie Hawtin will feature Sennheiser's audio systems.
The tour aims to educate students about electronic dance music (EDM), its production, performance and the technology that drives it. In addition to the training and academic content, there will be hands-on sessions with Hawtin, Loco Dice and other industry-leading DJs and producers.
Sennheiser shares its ideas behind the Cntrl concept and joins the tour as an official partner, reinforcing the importance of high-quality sound work and music technology products. In each location the sound will be driven with Sennheiser equipment and academic contributions will also be made to the content.
It will also present a stand in which experts from the company will show the brand's professional hearing aids. At the show will be the HD 25 II and the most recent release, the Amperior headphones, which offer the technology of the HD 25 II, bringing the deep but balanced sound of the clubs to mobile devices.
