Innovative business model will be presented at Expo Mipyme Digital 2014

Colombia. The Australian company Freelancer.com founded in 2009 by Matt Barrie, and dedicated to the world's largest freelancing, subcontracting and crowdsourcing market for small businesses, will be invited to the EXPO MiPyme Digital fair, in Bogotá, which will be held at the Compensar Convention Center, as one of the most representative international companies in the market.

Freelancer.com has become the strategic ally of Colombian small businesses, entrepreneurs, workers, entrepreneurs and consumers with the establishment of both national and international outsourcing of work and market needs. This platform allows companies and individuals to build mutually beneficial professional working relationships, which allows several countries to search and hire national entrepreneurship online such as USA, Canada, Colombia, India, United Kingdom, Australia and Chile.

Thanks to the model developed by the platform, the Regional Director for Latin America of Freelancer.com, Sebastián Siseles, will be as an International guest by the ICT Ministry, in the scenario where micro, small and medium enterprises are committed to contributing to the productivity and competitiveness of the country by promoting technological trends and the use of the Internet.

Sebastián Siseles highlights that "The digital arena is now the new meeting point, where we can build a reality closer to our personal vision.

- Publicidad -

It is clear that technology has managed to bring us closer to each other beyond geographical borders. In this new order, it is ideas, coincidences, and  shared purposes that seem to be forming a new kind not only of country, but of the world."

Additionally, in Colombia the platform has more than 63,000 registered users in six months of which more than 59 thousand are freelancers and more than 2,900 companies. Freelancer.com acquired and put into operation the website Freelancer.com.co dedicated to Colombia, where 2,900 companies have already published more than 3,800 projects, reflecting the need for a service and the solutions provided in the projects. During 2014 it is expected to double the number of users and increase by 200% the projects that Colombian entrepreneurs publish on the website.
