Extreme Networks strengthens in Latin America

Latin America. After the acquisition of Enterasys by Extreme Networks in September of last year, it has been necessary to strengthen the operational structure of channels for attention to  Latin America, through the integration of new executives, new marketing tools and comprehensive training to channels throughout the region.

Rubén Sánchez, Distribution Manager for Latin America and Jorge Díaz, Channel Manager for Mexico and the VECCA region (Venezuela, Colombia, and Central America), are the two new specialists who are now joining as part of the Extreme Networks commercial team. Oscar Chiu is also redefined as regional manager for Global Systems Integrators.

The three leaders of this new structure will have specific responsibilities for distributors, integrators and channels that correspond to extreme Networks' global strategy. Each of them is in charge of a group of Channel Managers who will give differentiated attention to each partner, according to the specific needs of the market they serve.

"The incorporation of these highly experienced executives in business development and attention to the distribution channel, will give us the muscle to serve our business partners in a more personalized, efficient and effective way with a view to achieving sustained double-digit growth in Latin America, "- said Juan Vergara, Channel Director of Extreme Networks Latin America.
