Latin America. Next Wednesday, April 15, InfoComm International will hold a new virtual seminar in Spanish, which will have as its central theme the effect on AV networks of IT security.
The participants will understand, from the hand of Juan David Pineda, Technical Director of the Apollo Scientific Computing Center, of the Eafit University, the security problems and risks associated with the integration or installation of Audiovisual systems in IT, they will also know the processes that must be followed while installing these systems so as not to put at risk the computer security of a company.
The purpose of this Virtual Seminar is to analyze the relationship between AV and IT networks, and how the former can impact IT security, perhaps putting a company at risk when carrying out installations or integrations of AV systems such as the opening of ports or remote access for maintenance of AV equipment, etc.
Juan David Pineda is a Systems Engineer from eafit University in Medellín, Colombia and a candidate for a Master's Degree in Information Security and Telecommunications from the Open University of Catalonia, Spain. Since 2007 he works at the University and has worked in the area of research in computer security, educational informatics and now works in the area of high performance computing supporting research in different areas of knowledge biology, mathematics, economics, among others.
