Mexico, Colombia and Australia with new AV women's groups

International. It was now the city of Orlando that hosted the third AV women's breakfast at InfoComm, a meeting attended not only by women, but also by men who support the group and its activities. We find women of different nationals, levels and functions, including technicians and also women who are dedicated to technological education and networking.

Among the most outstanding announcements were the creation of the group of women from Australia, Mexico and Colombia and the attention that is also being given to Asia for the movement.

There was also talk of the creation of the Linkedin group as a forum and means of communication. And the topics of debate that women suggested to be discussed in this medium were:

  • July- Certifications
  • August- Mentoria
  • September- Networking
  • October- Social Branding
  • November-  Presentation Skills
  • December  - Recognition and achievements

These issues are topical and are related to the VA industry focused on what women are living and that some of us are  more interested in than others.

Also, again was as a guest the renowned speaker Sam Horn, of Intrigue Expert now with the theme of her book "Gott Your Attention", in which she provides innovative ways to attract the attention of customers so that they buy or understand the projects, very important tools for sales. All attendees received a copy of his book and some even his dedication.

In the end there were very interesting proposals to help women and how to promote their work at all levels and that they will soon be sharing with us. Now the meeting will be in August with the women's group from Mexico.

Text written by Margarita Reyes, promoter of the AV women's group in Mexico.
