Mexico. Ricoh Mexicana, visualizes that currently technology is focused on people and improving their experiences in any day-to-day activity, included in their training. In this context, the humans & machines study, conducted by The Economist Intelligence Unit and sponsored by Ricoh, addresses the impact of technology on human creativity and intuition in organizations in different sectors.
The majority of managers in the education and training sector (71%) say that technology has helped them make sound decisions. On the other hand, 72%, the highest percentage among the sectors analyzed, agree that the interaction between humans and technology brings great advantages to the economy as a whole.
On the other hand, just over half of respondents in the education sector (52%) say that their main challenge is that technology evolves faster than the internal processes that support it. Ricoh Mexicana, a global technology company specializing in office printing equipment, production printing solutions, IT services and document solution systems, presents the "Smart Classroom" with the aim of empowering the workforce in training with state-of-the-art equipment and technologies specifically designed for maximum collaboration, creativity and for the educational needs of corporations.
It is a complete solution that integrates tablets, laptops, projectors, interactive whiteboards, content and classroom management software, videoconferencing systems, multifunction printers and other elements in an all-in-one service. Some of the advantages include:
· They are much less expensive than "traditional" training rooms
· More reliability as there are fewer points of failure and fewer vulnerabilities in IT security.
· It is a unique, standard and location-independent learning experience.
· Requires less time and effort in custom programming (nor the associated costs)
· It is installed in hours, not days or weeks.
· Cost savings in transfers of employees or customers.
In addition, as part of its long-term vision, Ricoh determines that companies must prepare for the integration of the technologies of the future and ensure that they have the capacity and resources necessary to optimize the relevant core processes before their adoption. In this way, the foundations will be laid for new ways of working and training and the creation of authentic collaborative environments, which will help attract and retain talent. While waiting to see which trends end up becoming the majority, companies have to be clear that during the next 10-15 years, the workplace will become a more fluid, connected and collaborative place, thanks to the demands of working in the digital age.
Finally, with this launch, Ricoh continues and strengthens its expansion in the market of technologies that enable communication and business collaboration, leveraging its strength and experience in offering innovation under service models (rents). Unlike traditional hardware sales players, this allows it to reach market segments where it was difficult to justify investment in advanced technologies that only large corporations could achieve.
