Mystique simplifies creating visual experiences

Latin America. Christie has simplified the process of creating great visual experiences by combining its long experience and industry-leading technology tools at Christie Mystique Install. It is a suite of software, hardware and services that brings together Christie's expertise, expertise and technology to support complex projection applications.

Mystique Install offers automatic stacking and edge blending solutions designed to meet the demands of the most sophisticated projection tasks, and with the high visual quality that Christie customers expect from the brand.

From simple flat-screen applications to projection mapping on sports courts or ice rinks, to giant screens in domes or attractions in theme parks or recreational spaces, Mystique Install offers the tools and services necessary to eliminate the complex, tedious and time-consuming process of manual alignment. With Mystique Install, installation speed is multiplied and downtime is drastically reduced.

Mystique Install is currently available in four editions:

  • Essentials Edition is an easy-to-use application and unique camera for warping and blending, which supports a total of up to 12 projectors in 2 x 3 stacked configuration on flat surfaces.
  • Pro Venue Edition offers stacking and edge blending in projections on flat, cylindrical surfaces. It includes aspects designed to facilitate projection mapping projects on ice rinks or sports courts.
  • Premium Edition is an expert-level solution for warping and blending with multiple cameras, ideal for stacked projection and edge blending in complex projection systems on flat, curved or customized screens. For example, domes.
  • Large Scale Experiences (LSE) Edition offers the highest degree of control for multi-projection applications of the highest level of demand, such as theme park attractions or gigantic domes. LSE Edition offers content organization modes and black level electronic tools to ensure maximum image quality.

Curtis Mutter, Christie's Director of Solutions, explains: "Responding to the increasing complexity of visual systems, Christie Mystique Install helps our customers create and maintain the visual experience they had dreamed of. From projection mapping on ice or court in the prolegomena or intermediates of hockey or basketball games, to the most exciting and immersive theme park attraction, with Mystique Install it is much easier to install and manage systems with projectors and multiple screens."

Christie Mystique is a global and customized solution that helps the customer produce the best, most imaginative and exciting experiences, while assisting Christie integrators to overcome the complexities involved in assembling systems of these characteristics.

Everyone who visits Christie's booth 264 at IAAPA will have the opportunity to attend a demonstration of the speed and accuracy of the Mystique Install - Large Scale Experience Edition in a scale model of a theme park attraction. Christie will also preview technology for automated calibration in complex 3D projection mapping projects.

IAAPA visitors are also invited to visit booth 1366, where Themed Entertainment Association exhibits a 1.2mm LED video wall of Christie Velvet's® Apex Series, and Electrosonic's stand 867, where a Christie Pandoras Box will manage a 1.9mm LED videowall of Christie Velvet's Merit Series. At Triotech stand 3254 we will see two Christie HD14K-M projectors blending on a display, and at MediaMation stand 1065 a Christie Mirage WU12K-M projector in a 3D projection room.
