Latin America. Casio has made important launches in recent days, two of them providing solutions for education. This is a pair of ultra-short throw projectors, designed for installation in school classrooms or training rooms.
The LampFree XJ-UT351W and XJ-UT351WN with DLP technology and WXGA resolution, are brighter than the previous models, both of 3,500 lumens of brightness, with contrast ratio 20,000: 1 and a factor of 0.28: 1, which allows to display large images at a very short distance between the projector and the screen.
To make the most of the time of a class, they have the Quick Start function to turn on and start up quickly, as they reach their maximum brightness level in just five seconds. Another feature that teachers will value is the C-Assist app (available for iOS and Android) that allows you to manage the projector wirelessly from a smartphone or tablet, either from the teacher's desktop or from anywhere else in the classroom.
For its part, the XJ-UT351WN model offers the possibility of networking, which will make it easier for students to present their work by connecting directly to the projector. The two models are compatible with the different manufacturers of interactive whiteboards, to achieve an optimal combination that provides an innovative tool for the school routine.
Like all LampFree equipment, these projectors use the aforementioned laser-LED hybrid light source, with a useful life of 20 thousand hours, which means that a school will be able to use the equipment for 15 years, if it is considered an operation of six hours a day for 220 days a year.
The two models of LampFree projectors will be available in the coming months. Dates and prices for each market will be announced according to local releases.
