Latin America. The company Panasonic has presented the LinkRay solution, which uses LED light to transmit content to mobile devices and allows to convert the screens used for digital signage, signs and light sources into 1-2-1 marketing tools for smartphones.
Users can receive data sent from LinkRay transmitters using their smartphone's camera. The information can be downloaded and displayed in the user's mother tongue, improving the visitor's experience in spaces such as museums and galleries, as well as in commercial areas.
LinkRay technology can be integrated into a range of professional displays (42, 49 and 55"), as well as in the form of a fixed ID modulator and a constant voltage electricity supply unit.
This fixed IP modulator provides LinkRay ID codes to a connected LED light source, such as a sign or lamp. The commercialization of larger screens of 70 and 80 "is planned for the winter of 2017.
