Latin America. The CP2308 is the new Christie xenon lamp projector, designed to meet the needs of small exhibitors, who have been waiting for the arrival on the market of an economical digital cinema option, but equipped with all the features and that meets the DCI standards. It has advanced electronics and has a large number of aspects designed to facilitate the user's life, so it is easy to handle.
Built with the operator in mind, the CP2308 features several important new aspects, including as standard automation that enables and simplifies playback, programming and management of cinematic content, a large touchpad controller with a novel and intuitive newly designed UX interface, and expansion card support for additional control.
"The CP2308 has the capacity to project 9,000 DCI lumens, and has Christie's latest electronic platform, CineLifeTM Series 3, which will serve as the basis for expanding the line of projectors compatible with DCI standards designed, manufactured and integrated by Christie," says Allan Fernandes, Christie's product manager.
The unit has support for alternative content sources via dual HDMI ports, and can be purchased with a Christie Series 3 IMB (Integrated Media Block). In addition, it offers retroactive support for third-party IMB Series 2.
This product will be available in markets around the world from June.
