Boxlight brings innovation to the classroom

Latin America. Boxlight has worked on strategies focused on improving student outcomes, empowering and enhancing teachers' lessons through Educational Technology tools, which have been grouped into 4 pillars: learning for the whole class, collaborative learning, assessment for learning and STEM.

In several Latin American countries the holidays have already arrived, and at the same time schools are starting to look for educational technology that suits classroom configuration, teaching styles and budgets. It is about teaching students to focus to learn creatively, develop and strengthen critical thinking to be innovative in their approaches and thought processes. It's about learning and working together, being able to communicate your ideas.

The company's technology and software empower both teachers and students in all forms of learning, enabling real understanding and improvement in student performance. Teachers will enhance student outcomes, and the development of basic skills: critical thinking, collaboration, communication and creativity.

•    Whole Class Learning: The teacher continues to handle differentiated instruction and facilitates learning. Whole-class solutions make teaching and learning easy. When technology is at its best, nothing stands in the way.

•    Collaborative Learning: Collaboration allows students to work together. Boxlight's software for education and application facilitate collaboration and helps students develop critical thinking skills and build their knowledge in all areas of the curriculum.

•    Assessment for Learning: Differentiated instruction is one of the keys to improving student outcomes. In order to personalize learning, teachers need to conduct a real-time formative assessment. They can do that with one of the following three options: With the MimioVote assessment, their school's mobile devices equipped with the MimioMobile app or any device with a compatible web browser. They can adjust their lessons and use the data to lead small groups or with individual instruction—or to know when to review a topic again and adjust it for the entire class.

•    STEM: Students learn most effectively when teaching reflects the real world. Using science to solve daily challenges helps students gain a deeper understanding. With the Labdisc portable lab, it's easy to incorporate research-based science into everyday learning. The Labdisc portable lab integrates with our hardware and software to provide a fun and effective STEM teaching environment.
